Financial advisors are interested in how they can make top rated leads into productive sales. Direct Marketing Campaigns have given the advisors resources to help people who are wanting more information from experts who can help them make an investment, and help the investments grow. Financial planning is important to everyone who has an interest in their retirement. Managing their money in the right manner is at the top of the list. These individuals are not happy with their current investment strategy, they are looking for a financial advisor or planner to review, and/or manage their portfolios, and current investments.

Our Method

We are providing our advisors and planners with information and facts to provide them with cost effective leads. We have the resources to gather information for the type of clients that we want to do Direct Marketing with, providing our agents with good prospects. It makes it much easier for our agents to work with these clients by knowing some facts about them. The clients need to be 45+ years in age with an annual income of $100k & above. The clients must also have a net worth of 500k and above, not counting their primary residents. Our agents know that they already have a portfolio that is at least $250,000. The other category is $1,000,000-$10,000,000. We have incorporated a couple of serious questions on our current investment flyer to get the prospective clients to think about their future. The following are the questions we ask on the Financial Planning Flyer:

1. Are you currently satisfied with your current investment strategy? (They must check the box “No”)
2. Would you like to be contacted for a financial analysis of your current investment portfolio by a local investment advisor? We keep those that check the box “Yes.”

When the survey is completed we are able to get the first and last names of the prospect. We also have their full addresses, day time contact number, ages, incomes, net worths, and size of their investment. This is all of the information gathered that we are able to give to our Financial Planners who live in the prospects’area. This information is important and helps our agent. But one of the key factors to this process is that the prospect must pay the postage to return the information and they are not offered any sort of incentive. This legitimizes the questionnaire and makes the prospect feel like they are being contacted by a Financial Advisor. We also state that within about sixty days a Financial Planner will be in contact with them. We also have been working with Merrill Lynch utilizing their expertise and getting some top rated leads for our advisors.
